The Pink City of Jaipur is the capital of Rajasthan and is a must on any itinerary in the area. I would say 2 full days are perfect to explore the city.
Jaipur is home to many forts and palaces and is quite spread out so I would recommend a driver for the day or a tour. We did it ourselves with tuk tuks and ubers but we had to wait for long period of time and it was unreliable.

Royal palace that is still being used by the royal family
3. Albert Hall Museum
Large museum and the building is beautiful itself
4. Amber Fort and Palace
Expansive fort and palace dating back to the 1500s about 12kms out of town
5. Stepwells
Several around the city- we went to the one near the amber palace
6. Nahargarh Fort
Fort overlooking Jaipur city, amazing sunset views
7. Patrika Gate
Iconic city gate with colorful artwork in the inside, a photographer’s dream
8. Old Bazaar
Near the city palace is an expansive bazaar full of textiles, spices, souvenirs etc. it is near H
9. Jal Mahal
Palace on the lake on the way to amber palace- it was closed during our visit
